It seems like everybody has an e-book, doesn’t it?
I think I’m still getting emails from e-books I signed up for 18 months ago and never read – a whole inbox’s worth!
And while many e-books aren’t very good, there are plenty out there that are well worth your time and in some cases, money. I want to share three of my favorites with you today. They all cover a slightly different aspect of blogging, and together, they give you a really comprehensive look at what elements of blogging are most important.
So, without further ado, let’s hit it.
Mom Blog SEO, by Kelby Carr. This is known as THE definitive source for mom bloggers looking to understand and deploy SEO on their blogs. Kelby Carr has been involved in all things internet-y for years and years and is an absolute wealth of knowledge. She also is the founder of Type-A Parent and Type-A Parent Conference. Street cred? Huge. You won’t want to miss this e-book if SEO is scary to you.
31 Days To Build A Better Blog, by Darren Rowse. This e-book is a workbook – a 31-day guide with tasks to complete every day – that’ll have your blog in better shape to be successful in wherever you want to take it. From crafting your elevator pitch to learning how to come up with blog post ideas, this is for newbie and veteran bloggers alike.
From Blog To Business, by Esther Crawford and Jennifer James. This book is, in my opinion, the BEST resource out there for female bloggers looking to understand how to monetize their blogs. It takes the mystery out of how to do a media kit, how to work with brands, what to charge for advertising, and so much more. And it’s FREE. Free, people.
Tell me: have you purchased or downloaded any e-books on blogging? Which ones, and were they beneficial?
