Community.
When I started my little mom blog 5 years ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I expected to post little stories and a few pictures so my friends and family could see.
I didn’t expect to find an entire community of other bloggers and readers that gave me a big cyber hug everyday.

It has been incredible to “meet” and “get to know” people across the world through a blog.
Online Karma is Real
I am a big believer in online karma. Promoting things and people you love online comes back to you tenfold.
Every once in awhile you will have a day where you feel like online karma is on vacation. Be patient. Online karma usually is planning something beyond your wildest dreams.
How to Amplify the Work of Others
The golden rule is a good place to start:
Do unto others {ONLINE} as you would have them do to you {ONLINE}.
Start with a giving spirit.
- Find several posts a day that you can promote – tweet, post to FB, stumble, pin, share on G+.
- Leave a comment on these posts.
- Send an email to someone you admire thanking them for being an inspiration.
- Write a post inspired by another post. Link to that post and promote it and others by that blogger.
- When you are scheduling your own social media promotion, schedule in some that promote others.
- Join in a twitter party, G+ hangout, leave a comment on a FB page, join a community.
Join an Online Community
If you don’t feel like you have found people that you want to regularly promote, then joining an online community is a GREAT place to find like-minds. Here are some places that I love to hangout:

The main thing is jump in! Get social! And one of the easiest ways to do it is to promote others.
