How to Schedule a FB Share to Your FB Page

OK, so this is an easy one.

It is a question I have answered several times this week…so of course there is a video involved!

schedule a fb share - Business 2 Blogger

How to Schedule a FB Share:

Steps in video:

  1. Login as your page.
  2. Go to page with the post/picture you want to share.
  3. Click on the photo you want to share.
  4. Grab the URL of that photo.
  5. Go back to your page and create a new post.
  6. Add your intro and then the URL.
  7. Once the photo auto-populates, you can delete the ugly URL.
  8. Schedule through FB just like you would any other post.
  9. Go to Holly’s FB page and share something from there {OK, that is an additional and optional step}.

Easy, peasy!

  1. Thank you!!! I have been sharing stuff, and it’s working great, but it was a pain to have to get on all the time and share stuff. I tried using Buffer, but FB didn’t like that too well. Then I started keeping a document of people’s posts that I wanted to share and try to remember to get on every hour or so and share one of them. I have been thinking for the past few days that there HAS to be a way to schedule the shares. So glad there is…thank you so much for sharing the info!

  2. You rock Holly! Thanks so much!

  3. I was doing this, but then stopped as it seemed to me those posts were getting even less exposure than the already decreased exposure. :) Any thoughts on if that’s true?

    • Hi Amanda,

For me, generally a share from someone else’s page gets about 50% of the exposure that I would expect when I share it directly myself. But other bloggers who have smaller pages have reported to me that they are seeing significant increase in exposure when they share.

I have not noticed a difference in exposure between a live share or a scheduled one – you might watch that. It is kinda hard to track since some things are a better fit than others, but that is part of the game!

Let me know what you find out.

  4. Thank you for this! It was on my list of things to google. I knew there had to be a way.

  5. This is ingenious. THANK YOU!
