From a general perspective, if you use the Business2Blogger service/website, you agree to our Terms of Service by default. If you do not agree with our Terms of Service listed below, don’t use the Business2Blogger service/website. Using the Business2Blogger service/website signifies your acceptance of our Terms of Service. Fairly simple, right? So let’s look at some specifics:
Business2Blogger – References to “Business2Blogger” and “B2B” both refer to the company called Business2Blogger found at http://business2blogger.com/. Business2Blogger reserves the right to update, change or modify these Terms of Service at any time, without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current service/website shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the service/website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. Business2Blogger is not liable to you or any party for any suspension or discontinuance of the service/website. Your use of the Business2Blogger service/website indicates that you accept all of these Terms of Service.
“Blogger” – Any time that it is used on this Terms/Conditions page or on the Business2Blogger website in general, the term “Blogger” refers to any person or business entity that enters their contact information into the Business2Blogger database with the expectation that they can “apply” for opportunities that come through the website Job Board, and will receive Blogging opportunities via email. “Bloggers” sign up with Business2Blogger at http://business2blogger.com/bloggers/.
“Business” – Any time that it is used on this Terms/Conditions page or on the Business2Blogger website in general, the term “Business” refers to any person or business entity that enters their contact information into the Business2Blogger database.
Email to “Bloggers” – “Bloggers” who submit their contact information to the Business2Blogger database agree to receive occasional Business2Blogger program/service updates via email. We need to be able to contact you with program changes, “Blogger”-specific issues, and additional opportunities.
Submissions for Blogging Opportunities – When a “Blogger” indicates their interest in a Blogging opportunity delivered found either on The Job Board, in a daily Blogging Opportunity email, they do so by clicking on the available link in the email, and filling out the interest form. In this interest form, the “Blogger” may be asked for information not limited to personal information, specifics regarding the “Blogger’s” Blog, interests, and more. The “Blogger” agrees to let Business2Blogger provide that submitted information to the “Business” who submitted the original “Business Campaign Request”. The “Blogger” further agrees to let the “Business” contact the “Blogger” directly from that point onward using the “Blogger” contact information that Business2Blogger provided to the “Business”.
Blogger Disclosure – In the event that a Blogger is asked to write about or review a product, company service or other by a Business, and the Blogger is in any way compensated for the work (cash, merchandise, services, discounts or other), the Blogger agrees to disclose the compensation and/or relationship with the party providing the compensation in compliance with FTC Guidelines. Basically, the Blogger needs to tell their readers that they were paid to provide their opinion. This is actually quite easy, and there are some short videos found here that tell you how to do this. For more on this, and to read the Business2Blogger Disclosure details, below.
Right to Quit – “Bloggers” have the right/ability to remove their contact information from the Business2Blogger database at any time, and therefore have the right/ability to stop receiving emails from Business2Blogger. “Bloggers” can remove themselves from the database by using the removal link provided at the bottom of every Business2Blogger email.
Email to “Businesses” – “Businesses” who submit their contact information to the Business2Blogger database agree to receive occasional Business2Blogger program/service updates via email. We need to be able to contact you with program changes, “Business”-specific updates, and additional opportunities.
Job Board Submissions – You submit your Job to us, we review it, and we make changes as needed in order to ensure that you are not simply out for free advertising. Business2Blogger reserves the right to modify or outright reject any Job for any reason. Business2Blogger records the IP address on each submission to alleviate abuse of the system. If you are interested in advertising your brand, we have a paid advertising program that you can review here.
Business Contact Information – All information collected via the Business Campaign Request form is kept in the Business2Blogger database. Business2Blogger does not sell or distribute “Business” information.
Occasional Program Emails –“Businesses” who create an account at Business2Blogger.com are added to the Business2Blogger database, and those “Businesses” agree to receive occasional Business2Blogger program/service updates via email. The email updates, including the “Business Newsletter” will include, but are not limited to, program changes, “Business” Job-specific issues, information and additional opportunities.
Disclosure and Liability –“Businesses” who submit a Job to be posted on The Job Board, and who solicit Bloggers in any way to perform work for them, agree that Business2Blogger cannot be held liable for any Blogger work, any opinions expressed by Bloggers, or any financial, reputation or emotional damage that comes from any opinions expressed by or work performed by the solicited Bloggers.
Right to Quit – “Businesses” have the right/ability to remove their contact information from the Business2Blogger database at any time, and therefore have the right/ability to stop receiving emails from Business2Blogger. “Businesses” can remove themselves from the database by using the removal link provided at the bottom of every Business2Blogger email.
Spammers…beat it. You will not be permitted to spam our subscribers. We are not spammers, nor do we permit you to use our resources for anything malicious. We retain full control of our mailing lists, which we do NOT sell to other companies of ANY KIND. We ONLY use the contact information that you submit to pair you with Businesses who are interested in using you for Blogging opportunities. If you are a business we do not sell or distribute your info either…this goes under the headings of “ethical business” and “integrity”.
Our Commitment To You –
This is our brainchild, but we understand that it comes with responsibility, and won’t be successful without our integrity, and your trust in us. So we commit the following:
- Privacy. Remember, we are Bloggers and Businesspeople, just like you. This means that just like yourselves, we do not condone abuse of trust and privacy. Bloggers provide us with their email addresses, Businesses entrust us with their contact information. We will, under no circumstances, give your contact information to a third party without your permission. We record IP addresses with each submission of contact information to help prevent abuse of the Business2Blogger program/website. We do NOT give out IP addresses to anyone. Ever. We will, under no circumstances, give your contact information to a third party without your permission.
- No Spam. As we have said before, we send out a MAXIMUM of one email per day to our Bloggers, and occasionally we may send you a program update via email. We do not give your email address to anyone else without your permission, and we adhere to the rules of our email distribution service to the letter. We are not spammers. If you get spam in your email from somewhere, you may as well look at someone else, because it didn’t originate from us, or as a result of your submission of your email address to our service. We are Bloggers, like you, and WE HATE SPAM. If you ever want to be taken off the distribution list, you can simply use the removal link at the bottom of any of the emails. You won’t hear from us again. Does that put any concerns about Spam to rest? Hopefully?!
- We are not your Mothers. We’re all big kids now. And this is where the talk of good faith and integrity comes into play. We will do our very best to bring in Businesses with good intent and integrity, and match them up with like-minded Bloggers. But because we are all fallible humans, there will be miscommunication, mistakes and unfulfilled promises at times. If this happens, we are terribly sorry, but we are not here to police all the interactions. You are big kids, please work it out in a mature fashion. That being said, if we hear repeatedly that someone is abusing the system or trust in general, we will start to take a closer look, and take appropriate action. But PLEASE do NOT write us asking us to play middle man. We simply will not do this.
- Our Rights. We want for all of us to do well. To have fun. To profit by one another. That being said, we retain the right NOT to work with anyone of our choosing. We retain the right to remove anyone from our distributions, and to block anyone’s IP address from participation as we see fit, for any reason. This is our house, and we only play with friends.

The Blogger Disclosure Responsibility
In 2009 the FTC updated it’s guide regarding Endorsements and Testimonials. Basically what it means for Bloggers who write paid endorsements or reviews of products and services is that the Blogger is required to disclose what swag they got for writing a post.
So when a Business uses Business2Blogger to hire a Blogger, and the Business pays the Blogger to say something nice about their stuff, the Blogger has to disclose that they were paid. It’s part of our Terms of Service that the Blogger agrees to when they join Business2Blogger.
